I am 22 years old and have been smoking for a little over 2 years. Over the last month or 2 i have been noticing that sometimes when i swallow it feels like something is lodged at the bottome of my throat. its weird, sometimes it feels like nothing is in my throat and other times it feels like its huge. what do you think this could be? is it possible just after 2 years of smoking i could get throat cancer? thx in advance

  • Hi,I have been a smoker for 11 years I'm 30 you may want to have your esophagus and voice box checked and also your lungs a CT scan to see if you have asthma, bronchitis, or emphysema. I know that sounds crazy but some can have emphysema with just second hand smoke and there also a disease called alpha1 that is a genetic lung disease. Hope this helps MAE
