Nasal blockage and pain on one side only.

Starting two weeks ago I developed intermittent blockage of my left nostril along with mild sinus pressure/pain. It was worse when it started but has now diminished to where the blockages are fewer and don't last long.
In late August I developed a sore throat, ear ache (both on left side) and mild fever. I saw a doctor who prescribed me zithomax which I could use if I felt I needed it. About two days after the appt. and before I started the antibiotics, the sinus symptoms started to emerge. All the symptoms went away but the nose blockage, pressure/pain and occasional tooth pain (upper left side) lasted for several weeks.
Now that the nose symptoms came back, I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience and any advice.
