I recently moved to China (rural/small city). About 4 or 5 days after I got here I got sick with what I think was a cold. The doctor here insisted I take antibiotics through IV (even though I didn't see what good it would do for a cold). I received antibiotics for 2 days and was also given some medicine for my cold symptoms.
It actually seemed to get better after the antibiotics for a few days (not sure if I had just gotten naturally better though, since it had been around a week). However it seemed like I got sick again or my symptoms returned, I get a really sore throat and congestion. Anyway, I've had a persistent sore throat, cough/flem, and a stuffy nose for about a month now. Sometimes I have an upset stomach as well and I've had loose stool a couple times. Should I be concerned, if it's not a cold what could it be?
