not sure where to start here
i have a daughter who is nearly 8 months old around dec
she devleoped a lump above her right ear it's hard like bone and you cant move it
it doesnt seem to cause her pain and she's happy eats well and is bright for her age
it's now march and the lump has not gone
i took her to a local gp who referred her to hospital
we went last week and he has arranged a ct scan and for some genetic tests
to be done, also he said depending on the outcome of the scan he would like her to
see a facial person as one side of her seem's to be sunken in
i noticed this a while before with her right eye seems sunk in more than the other one
i thought it may have been flat head syndrome as the left side of the back of the head
is sunk in but now am not sure as she does not always sleep on that side and is not left in her bouncer for too long
im just wondering have any other parent's saw this problem and if so what was the outcome
i have to wait 7 weeks to see consultant again which is very fustrating
am also 3months pregnant and hoping it's not genetic and will affect my next child
please reply thank you
