Lips numb, head pain

I am a 57 yr old female. For the past few days I have had a pain in the slightly right, half way up on the back side of my head. The pain is there somewhat all the time, but not as noticeable. But, it seems to get more intense every few minutes, then fades again. I noticed the last day and a half or so that the left side of upper and lower lips feel odd, almost like novocaine is wearing off; they don't seem to work exactly right. When I brush my teeth and go to spit, again, the weird feeling like after novocaine. And, food seems to taste off.
Any suggestions or ideas?
