I have difficulty swallowing only on the left side of my throat. Sometimmes food & liquid will "slide" down the left side without the swallowing action. It's become impossible to eat food and liquid at the same time without choking(food with sauce, food with milk, etc).
First couple of swallows seem to be fine - but by the third swallow, I'm done on the left side. Here is something interesting - when I press on the left side of my throat with my fingers - very firmly - I will feel liquid and food start to slide down the left side of my throat. Almost like there is something preventing the food from being swallowed on that side - the pressure from my fingers feel like they are moving something out of the way allowing the food and liquid to travel down the throat.
Any ideas? I'm losing weight and I'm also starting to suffer from poor nutrition.
