I'm not sure about my ear symptoms

I haven't yet gone to a doctor for this, so let me describe it. First a bit about myself, I have cerabella ataxia and rheumatoid arthritis. What I'm experiencing, though rather seldom except for last night, is like a burp. You might have had this type of burp, it's when you've not eaten and it's a bit like a hiccup.

My ears don't feel pain, so it may not be ear popping that I've experienced.
