Hearing loss from gunfire-- is it permanent?

Five days ago I fired about 10 rounds from a 45 caliber pistol, and on the last two shots felt pain in my right ear.
I had consumed 3 drinks that night. I am 21 years old.

Today i still have difficulty hearing in my right ear. Sounds are muffled and it feels "full". Does this mean i have caused permanent hearing damage? Will it always feel like this?
