I had my wisdom teeth removed about 1 1/2 years ago (I am now 41). On my followup to the oral surgeon, I informed him my right side of my face was swollen and he said it was nothing.
Several months later, my boss noticed my right eye looked different (the swelling on the right side of my face has gone from just being in the jaw area to affecting my eye). I noticed that my eye area is swollen, especially the eyelid.
4 months ago, I went to the ER with vertigo but it had started with severe pain and then fullness in my right ear. The swelling on the right side had gotten worse and I think this all has something to do with the oral surgery. Since the ER visit, I continually have severe fullness of the right ear, causing pressure in my head (like have a continual headache). The ER doc said it could be nerve damage caused by the oral surgery.
So far, no one can figure this out. Anyone have any idea what is wrong?! I am going crazy with discomfort and not knowing!
