So my younger sister recently has showed me her tonsils. And they are rather large, with white points. We know it isn't strep throat (we are very common to strep- we both had it all the time growing up). And the white bits, don't look like the white nasty spots from strep. lol.
I have heard about tonsil stones, and it almost appears as though her tonsils could be filled with those. Mine kind of look similar (has gotten me worried mine will end up looking like hers). Hers are very large. She can open her mouth, and the back of her throat can't be seen (ew)
However, she has had issue with drugs (popping over-the-counter pills).
So I am wondering if the reason her tonsils are so large is because of her past drug habits. However, mine sort of look similar, but not nearly as large as hers. (I never had the drug issue). Would her drug issue have anything at all to do with the size of her tonsils. (It's a sensitive topic with us, so i don't want to bring that up if i do not have to)
So yeah, I am just looking for some insight. Is it possible for mine to become similar eventually?
Anything would be great! Thakns
