I just recently experienced what my doctor termed as "the worst ear infection she's seen". They tried placing me on erithromyocin, but after a short stay at the ER for vomiting and dehydration they changed my meds to amoxicillan and ear drops. I am 30 and there were no clues that an ear infection was even coming on, it was very sudden and severe. The pain is now gone but I'm left with significant vertigo, tinnitus and very little hearing in the infected ear. Have any of you experienced these side effects? How long did it take for recovery? I've missed a week of work as is and will now have to go back despite the fact I an only hear out of one ear and still feel very dizzy.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
