About 4 months ago I met a girl and ended up making out with her. Shortly after my throat started bothering me. Not the traditional sore throat really, it mostly feels like my saliva is very thick and I have difficulty swallowing.
I eventually went to a doc who thought it could be allergies and gave me some anti-allergy (?) medication. Didnt help. Oh also, that first doc said I tested negative for strep.
The second doctor was talking to me when my strep results came back and he said I was positive for strep. So he gave me some antibiotics and sent me on my way (this was last week).
STILL nothing. I'm assuming it's related to the girl I made out with since it was right after that?
Any chance it could be a yeast infection in my throat...? The doc said he didnt think so cause my tongue doesn't have any white on it, but is that an instant sign of it?
