About, I want to say either two or two and a half weeks ago, I went to the doctor as I was having a really bad, unrelenting cough. The doctor looked, did a strep test, came back negative, prescribed me some cough syrup and gave me some anti-biotics. Come today, I'm done taking the rounds he gave me, and my throat just HAPPENS to still be pretty darn red. However, my cough and sore throat has subsided. However, my throat does feel a bit scratchy still, and I notice a very slight.. itty bitty soreness. I guess you could say it kind of feels like a stick in the throat. Sort of like when you swallow too big of a piece of a chip, lol. But anyways, I digress.. and I really hope I don't have to go back to the doctor. No insurrance + no job + immense fear of doctors = Terrible combo to deal with.
For reference.. here's some photos.. of my throat.
