I've had Chronic Sinusitis for 6 years.. I am 17 now, and basically has ruined my life :( It has made me sooo lazy I can't breathe. I've had 2 operations it works for the 1st week and then it just comes back.. NEVER goes away.. I use the Neilmed nose spray thing with hot water. Although they have only just diagnosed it last year, they have been trying to figure it out since I was 11..
I have a NASAL voice because of all the mucus that is in the back of my throat/sinuses, well thats what they say.. Also I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 this year.. and because of all this I lost ALL my friends like 3 years ago.. I dropped out of school it was just too hard.. I got bullied because of my voice it was to hard to talk and when I did talk people just said what..?? and laughed at it.. Yes I did Speech Therapy for 2 years and it did ABSOLUTELY nothing.. they gave up.
Btw I used to be one of the "COOL" kids until all this started. I then became the loner that sits by himself at recess and lunch and never talks to anyone.. I don't have glasses though.. Most loners I see have glasses but not me thank god :D thats one good thing in my life at least.. (makes me less ugly lol)
Oh and btw the Chronic Sinusitis was so bad at one point they said I might die because there was so much mucus it could flood my brain at any time or something I dunno I forgot the exact words he said lol... that was like a few months ago before my 2nd operation.
Well that is basically my whole life story in 1 post.. well not yet, I've never kissed a girl/had a girlfriend, I fell off a cliff and nearly died (like 50 meters high, huge/sharp rocks all the way down) when I was 5. My grandpa died on September 13th (2 days before my birthday), my 11 year old dog died a week later from cancer (same reason my grandpa died) ..Ok now it is my whole life story.
Yeah, I have a great life...... But I know there are worse people out there.
