Hi friends

I was recently undergoing a routine aerospace medicals (for gliders) when the Doctor mentioned that there is slight calcification in the left ear tympanum .. He didnt say anything further and cleared me off .. the audiometry too was O.K.

I was later told by a friend doing his Medical degree that calcification would mean slow deafening of the ear as more and more calcium deposits would render the tympanum useless. Now im very scared of losing my career and worser losing my hearing!

Isnt there any treatment for curing or atleast checking the calcification of my ears so that I can fly for a longer time??
