Bone grafts upper gum line

Was to only have one graft where at some point may want a tooth implant but the peridontist said he would just go on and use all the bone since he had it anyway rather than throw the rest away. So I ended up with about 7 or 8 across the top gum line. How long does it take for the stitches to dissolve? Last night one came loose and was hanging down below my tooth line so I clipped it shorter...I can feel the stitches all over up there but forgot to ask how long to stay on softer foods and how long it takes for them to dissolve.
Anyone had this done? The place where the stich came loose (??) doesn't look so good this morning either, should I call tomorrow even though its not bleeding?

  • WHAT!!! Was he a nut???? See a lawyer for malpractice. Hope you have seen a specialist by now. How are you? I've had 3 of these, one as a time and they take a piece of skin from the roof of your mouth and place it by the one gum that he told you needed to be done. You just don't do surgery for the heck of it. See a lawyer before the year is up.
