1. When I go to blow my nose (which I usually have to when I wake up in the morning and also by the time I go to sleep that night) I can sit there and blow and blow and blow through a million tissues and still not be clear. And I blow HARD. If I don't blow hard, nothing will come out, and even when if I do, sometimes it won't all come out. Like right now I'm sitting here after having gone through about 20 tissues and given up, and I can still barely breathe out of my left nostril. And its like the mucus that does come out is in these huge chunks that actually sometimes hurt on the way out.
2. Sometimes (usually after a meal) I get a TON of flem in my throat. Like I am violently clearing my throat every few seconds for half an hour at least. It drives me crazy and I'm sure it drives everyone else around me crazy too.
Don't know if these things are related or not, but I'd also like to mention I have asthma, so that might be a contributing factor. Though its not intense asthma or anything, I haven't used an inhaler for like 10 years at least and it's been even longer since I had an asthma attack. So any idea what's going on and how I can fix this? I've been this way for as long as I can remember and I've had just about enough of it. Thanks
