7 throat surgery

I am 33 and having my 7th tonsilectomy. i have had my lingual tonsils removed 7 times the doctor doesnt know why they return. when they return have a hard time swallowing and they swell up and block my air way. please help if u have had or know anyone with the same problems. I need answers

  • I am in the same boat as you although I have only had them removed once...they grew back 3 weeks later. I have had the runaround and some of the docs still say they think it could be reflux. I am on reflux meds and had a bravo capsule put in my esophagus to test for it...came back very mild only on day two. Have they talked about sending you to Mayo Clinic? That is what they want me to do...
