Tinnitus: stress related? What to do?

I have been suffering with mild tinnitus for almost the past year.

To the best of my knowledge it is stress related. Several times this year I have had my ears irrigated to get rid of any wax build up and the ringing has persisted. Not that I am aware of have I ever had an ear infection. And I do not have any underlying heart or neurological condition that might explain this. I also try to moderate for how long and how loud I play my music.

Currently I am considering having several sessions of acupuncture. I have heard it has been used to treat it, but I don't know how helpful it is, or whether it is effective at all.

Has anyone tried this? Did it work?

Thanks.

  • acupuncture helps a lot but it only is possible, when you are maintaining good environmental conditions for your year.. like hearing low level volume, thinking how is it possible? you can use micro machines which help you to control the incoming volume and protect your ears from getting dumb..
