I have been reading this thread for a while (months.) I can't believe there are so many people with this and no medical professional has a diagnosis. I have had this for at least 3 years. I went twice to an ENT he had no idea what I was talking about and told me to put mineral oil in my ear for itchiness. The tickling, crawling sensation comes and goes often. It is in my left ear and is really uncomfortable and has woke me up many times at night. The only reason I'm posting is to document another person with this condition so hopefully someone in the medical field will respond and do some research it there are many of us.
