  • Umm... I don't like "people" either. I like persons, individually, on the most part, but "people"? So long as it doesn't affect his daily functioning, and the person doesn't pose a threat to himself or society? then allow the person their feelings. Jumping at everything a person says is just as bad as getting a "wrong diagnosis" -- if no one had their personal preferences and opinions, then we'd be a boring, clone-like society... and that's scarier than any person that just doesn't "like people".

  • Doesn't like the people that chatter nonstop about nothing, or just want to hang out because they can't stand being alone. Those who aren't gifted enough to live off in their own little dreamworld, like me. :DSeriously, "normal" people are boring, and usually unpleasant to be around for any lengths of time. The internet was made for efficient communications. Verbal speech was made to irritate us.:p

  • Whats it mean when a 25 yr. old college educated man says he just doesn't like people? Sounds like he might be disillusioned by people and the way they act, especially if he has been hanging around selfish, uncaring or intolerant people. Mindless people are hard to take, but tolerance and patience are good qualities to have at times.

  • THE TRUTH HURTS SO GET READY.....What it sounds like is .. Ur not happy with urselfand ur in denial about that. When u come to terms with and deal with that issue you'll see life a whole lot different. You have to learn to like urself first...try to seek counseling.... maybe it goes back to an awkward incident when u were a child. PRAY ABOUT IT!GOD IS GREAT!!

  • MADAM DANE, what nonsense is this? You can feel fine with yourself, and simply not like hanging out and socializing. Different people like and dislike various things.

  • i am exactly the opposite and so is my middle child (16). but i absolutley noticed my youngest child (14) feels the very same way.she could spend her whole life on the computer.talking and interacting with virtual people.it makes her happy and content.she has a very hard time at school, socially. academically she's brilliant.and only 1 friend, maybe 2 at best.but i think she may be emotionally too deep for regular people, and that may be where this all stems from. idk, just guessing. i always joke around and say ignorance is bliss. and the brilliant need to lighten up
