Hi my Mum is 64 years old, is diabetic and has lost 4 stone in the last 3 months. She has constant diarroreah and sickness (every day) she has completely lost her appetite and feels tired constantly. It started when she was diagnosed with a bad urine infection 3 months ago but could not keep antibiotics down after many trips to a&e to give her them intrevenously ( you will have to excuse all my spelling mistakes!) now she is with a specialist at the hospital she was sent for the camera down the neck and up the other end! which at the time she was told were clear and then she went for a cat scan which she went to get the results back yest. The specialist said the CAT scan was clear but then after looking through her file back at the endoscopy results looked a bit panicked said she had a thick lining of the stomach and proceeded to make another urgent endoscopy and biopsy appointment for next tues and sent her for blood tests. Please if anyone has any similar stories i would be very grateful for any advice as the things i have read on the internet are really starting to worry me and tues seems ages away!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
