Upper abdominal pain

I have a tight mass across the front of my abdomin up very high, just under my diaphram. What is it? the least amount of liquid or food bothers it and makes it even tighter and harder. Food with liquid is an absolute no no. It looks very strange since it protrudes out above my stomach. Below it is a normal squishy belly (I've had kids and hate crunches). anybody have any idea what this is.
and I also take Prilosec OTC for reflux daily.

  • Hernia. Does your food "stick" before going down? Do you get hiccups often or belch? Hernias will cause acid reflux as well. Your symptoms may disappear for a while, but you need to see a dr. Hernias can "slide", but will return. In the mean time, no heavy lifting! An upper GI can diagnose this.

  • Better go to the ER, you can't go on with out food or fluid.
