I'm not sure if this is the place to ask my questions, but the rest of the internet is telling me nothing. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when I was like 12. There was an episode of "birthday" I missed on UC and it's worried me ever sinse. I know some things about UC and pregnancy, but can't seem to find anything about childbirth. I was wondering if anyone has been through it or knows someone who has or can even just point me to a site that can help me. I'm 20 now and I have a fiancee so children are in my future. Can anyone tell me if the pressure makes you more likely to hemmorage? Will I likely need a C-section? My diesease has progressed into the siegmoid (right side) and is at the bend at the top of the colon. I have already had polyps removed. How much will all this effect childbirth?
