Ok a bit of history first.
In 2005 I had a burst duodenum ulcer and a laparotomy to repair the damage. As I understand it my pancreas was damaged at the same time, I think some of my pancreas was removed during the laparotomy.
I cannot remember if the following symptoms began before the above, or just after, i just know it's been years.
Now I get:
Chronic wind that can go on for a few days, that smells really bad. I mean people have to leave the room...! It is really disgusting. Sometimes accompanied by diarrhoea but not always.
I get very loud gurgling noise in my lower tummy, you can here it from a few meters away.
I will often get very watery diarrhoea straight after eating.
When I wake up in the morning I have to go to the toilet very quickly tool, and again it is often very loose, but not watery.
I have taken imodium etc but nothing really works.
