Well in 2007 I had a cyst removed on my ovary. They said I had endometriosis. After two years of being on the pill and constant UTI issues and anxiety, my doc and I decided I could try it off a bit. That was August and since then I have felt amazing and had minimal anxiety issues and no UTI or headaches. Until last night..... this is my first time with a symptom that worries me since. I feels like a pounding (like a heartbeat) and a sharpness sometimes, right around my belly button. Then it was on my left side for a while and now its back to belly button. I can't get into the woman clinic at all today and my doctor there is booked til 2010. Family practice was full to until tomorrow at 8 am. So I took that, however, I am really freaked out I might of made a deadly mistake. The pain I am having is no bigger than the size of a fist I'd say and I have no other symptoms. Its not a SEVERE pain but its seriously annoying and somewhat painful, maybe a 4. I have been trying to not go to the doctor so much as before, I was there monthly for this or that, my anxiety was so bad that anything made me think I was dying. I have been doing well and don't wanna go back for something so silly or stupid (like if its just gas) and I really don't wanna rush to the ER if I don't have to.... since I will be there all night waiting and I don't really have the money for a copay right now. So that is a last resort, for a true emergency for me. I obviously have anxiety still but lets see.... I have had many ultrasounds in the past 6 months and MRI as well. Lots of blood tests and this stomach pain has been there before, back when I was on my pill.... they never seemed to think much of it and just sent me on my way. I am wishing I had answers, tired of feeling like I am crazy and tired of thinking every little thing will kill me. Is this possibly signs of a cyst returning or just a part of endometrosis? Do you think at this point with it being a mild pain and no other symptoms I am ok to wait til 8 or should I be getting my butt to the ER fast..... any help is welcomed, thanks
BTW-- info on me.... 27 year old, female, no smoker, no diabetes, I am a vegetarian as well and I don't drink either. Not sexually active. Hope this helps. Thanks
