My son is 16 years old, all his life he has week long spans of diarrhea/abdomen pain. Doctors diagnosed it as a virus and treated it with antibiotics. 8+ months ago his diarrhea and abdomen pain started and after several medications countless test and a upper and lower scope; doctors still cannot diagnose or relief symptoms. The doctor has ruled out chron disease. he has been on a lactose and glutton free diet. Nothing seems to help. The doctor wants to start all the test over again. His weight was 267 in May 2013 and now May 2014 weights 221. This is effecting him mentally (depression and anxiety)and will only get worse with no relief in sight. PLEASE HELP

  • the weight loss is classic of diabetes type 1, take him to the hospital have them administer a blood sugar test. I am willing to bet money the abdomen pain is because his antibodies have identified his pancreas as an enemy and are attacking it.
