I have been sick since the beginning of may. I have been very stressed lately I just graduated from high school and there has just been too much going on. (do i have IBS? i don't know.) Anyway here are my symptoms...
i had diarrhea on and off for one week.
i had constant diarrhea for the next week.
i went and saw the doctor, they told me to go on a stomach safe diet and diagnosed me with a stomach virus.
as i started eating more easy to digest food my diarrhea went away and became yellow soft stool which is definitely not normal for me. i was eating a lot of bread on purpose to bind my stool and normally this amount of bread would give me constipation.
i then started getting heartburn and stomach acid. i called the doctor and she said to take prilosec otc for it. i also stopped eating too much bread.
it helped me but i am still having abnormal stool, i am still in constant stomach pain especially my upper left side under the rib cage. i usually feel too nauseous to eat early in the morning, now that i am done with highschool i have been waking up later and am able to eat.
if i deviate from the diet i have another bout of diarrhea.
after i have a BM my stomach feels like it hurts more for a little bit afterwards.
i also have some pain on my left side of the pelvic area.

i am seeing a specialist soon, but i would like to know what i could have prior to my appointment... my father suspects it is an ulcer.
i did do a 3 day stool test, which came back negative for infection and blood.
i have also previously been infected with c. difficile about a year ago. my digestive system is sensitive... :(
please help?
