I am suffering with proliferative(think thats correct!) retinopathy and to be honest,am scared sh**less of losing my sight.I have had laser surgery to the extent I cannot have more, also had 2 lots of surgery where they lasered from inside the eye,but yet the new 'vessels' keep growing and coming back.My hba1c results are always excellent with the last one coming back with a 6.1 and previous was 5.2,however my problem apparently is getting worse.
My vision is good at the moment and the condition is only affecting the outside of my eyes, but my Doctors seem reluctant to tell me anything else and I don't know what questions to ask them to be honest.
What's after laser?are there any treatments to cure this, does anybody have experience's of this condition that could give a few comforting words?
