Help with diagnosis

Two months ago I had a fasting glucose test that came back at 5, which is all good. Now last week I had a glucose tolerance test which came back at 7.5 for fasting and over 11 after the two hour wait period. My doctor wants to diagnose me with diabetes, without testing me again.

I have no symptoms of diabetes. Could there be something else that could have effected the result? Is it worth getting tested again, or should I just resign myself to his diagnosis.

Any help greatly appreciated!
