my sister was living with an r.n. who told her if she tried to leave her, she could kill her and no one would know. strangly enough, sis was sick for months with all symptoms, blurred vision, throw up, etc - r.n. told her she's ok - just flu, etc. neighbor concerned and checked blood suger - so high would not read on monitor - blood was 1288 at hospital. 1288 !! (strangly enough admitted day prior to coming to visit me) now she has been here 7 weeks and has stoped taking her insulin as her sugar has remained stable at around 100 for 5 days now. when she did take the shots, she was shakey and her sugar would 'tank' out a lot. - she says she feels better than in months after no insulin. she is actually a pretty strong woman. when she first got admitted to hospital and told me - first thing out of my mouth was 'do you think she did something'
is it possible ??? - the r.n. layed out all her meds, vitamins everyday, and kept insisting she was fine - though very sick.
would any of the hospital blood work show anything? would blood work now show anything? should we investigate? is it possible to do this? how?
