  • Another question- how old are you? Could you be pregant? This could also explain frequent urination and nausea.Just a thought.DOM

  • If you are 41, you could develope either type 2 diabetes or a form of diabetes called Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA). LADA often appears to be type 2 in the beginning stages but it eventually always progresses to total insulin dependence. If you are not overweight you could have LADA. If you have weight issues, it is more likely type 2 diabetes.Symptoms of diabetes -- when blood sugar is too high -- include include headache, stomache, blurry vision, fatigue, weight loss, and frequent urination -- especially during the night. If diabetes is suspected there are several tests that can be done to confirm the type of diabetes (type 2 or LADA). The good news is that you can have some of these symptoms from insulin resistance or pre-diabetes -- both of which when caught and treated early on can prevent the full onset of type 1 diabetes.I run a not-for-profit diabetes support site if you want more information about diabetes, tests involved, and the difference between LADA and tpe 2 you can visit www.isletsofhope.com.I strongly encourage you to see a doctor as soon as possible.Good luck to you.Lahle Wolfe

  • I would think it's not diabetes, especially with a normal urine test. When I was having frequent urination, and I meant like every 20 minutes all night long, then developing an awful odor of the urine, I got an "over the counter" test for diabetes. It showed if you had ketones in your urine, and would change the stick a dark brown if positive. Be happy your tests are fine.....no fun being diabetic.

  • Please do not listen to anything Shula or Acuann tell you. My sister just passed away because Shula and Acuann told her that her doctor was wrong and she did not have a serious condition. Acuann even told her to get acupuncture to get healed. These people are going to be investigated for practicing medicine without a license. Shula and Acuann are specifically wanted in connection with my sisters homocide. Thats right homocide. If she would have listened to her doctor instead of these internet quacks she would still be here today. Rest assured I will do everything in my power to put these two behind bars and shut this website down for good.

  • I was tested for the glucose resistance test about two years ago, and they told me that I was not diabetic... not that I want to be, but both my parents are. I have now a numb finger, it spreaded to my hand and now in my feet, all on the right side... I dont urinate more than anybody else, and I do drink a lot of water everyday, but I also get stomach cramps after eating often and nauseas... I eat healthy food, not overweight, pretty active person, fit...I dont know what to think anymore, I will see a doctor tomorrow, I wonder if he will still rule out the diabetic diagnostic... the numbness is freakin me out!

  • Request an A1c test and if it is over 6, then you have diabetes. Normal is really like under 5.
