Help - my husband is a Type 2 diabetic and has urinary tract problems from nerve damage. He has recently been suffering from frequent bouts of explosive diarrhea, accompanied by vomiting, the sweats and chills. At first we thought he had food poisoning, but he was recently hospitalized by one of these episodes. I can't help but thinking this is somehow related to his diabetes.

Anyone have any advice? experience with this?
