I recently had my wisdom teeth removed; about two weeks ago. I am still in extreme pain and am taking vicodin every day. I have been back to my doctor about four times since the surgery. He has said that I do not have a dry socket and that he has never seen anything like this. I have been cleaning out the sockets after i eat because i get so much food caught in them. I have also tried the clove oil and packing them, but i can no longer do that because my doctor wants the holes to close. I am in so much pain.

has anyone had something like this before? any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • Hi there, sorry ur in so much pain. It could be possible that ur trigeminal nerve has been affected, google trigeminal neuralgia & see if any of it applys to your pain, often trigeminal neuralgia starts this way. Hope for ur sake it is not this. Best wishes :)
