Gum pain...

I had oral surgery done to remove all four of my wisdom teeth about three years ago. Everything healed properly but as of late I've been having gum pain on my bottom right jaw where I had my right bottom wisdom tooth removed. There's no bleeding or weird color, but it bothers me to chew food. My teeth don't hurt just the gum near the back of my throat. Now when they removed my wisdom teeth the dentist had to dig into my jaw to get all four out. I've had a similar pain before but not this bad, and it went away the next day. I never bothered to go ask the dentist about it the last time but now I'm pretty sure I will if it doesn't get better in a few days.
