dandy walker syndrome

my son 18 years of age now, was diagnosed with dandy walker syndrome when i was 7 months pregnant. he has some mild motor skill problems and migranes perodically need help he has had a migrane now since 6:00a.m. this morning and still has it despite use of migrane meds. he also had on yesterday starting at 4:00 a.m. and lasted to 3:00 p.m. are these migranes related to the dandy walker or is it just a migrane i've read about migranes and the statous migraneous can last up to 72 hours but need help dont even know if it could be sinus or allergy related he also has a shunt to drain the fluild in the fourth venticule help!!!
