I need help. For the past 3 or 4 days, my husband has been complaining of joint pain to the point where he can hardly move without being in pain, and also he is running a fever. The only thing that alleviates his pain is Tylenol Arthritis. He is only 25 years old, so I thought maybe it is early arthritis pain or something. But now, my 5 year old son is running a fever and complaining of having "sore legs" and a headache and now that this is happening, I also feel compelled to include that my other 18 month old son has been waking up crying in the middle of the night several times for the past few days which is NOT normal of him at all and he is also now running a fever.
While consulting with a friend of mine on these strange symptoms along with the lack of any typical cold-like symptoms to go along with them, she tells me that her husband and 5 year old son is also having the same exact symptoms! We are close friends and we are together almost every weekend with them.
My question is has anyone ever heard of anything like this before and could it be something that just affects males because neither I nor my friend feel any such symptoms at all! I'm so confused!!!
