Hi, Im 22 years old. My mother passed away at the age of 28 with colon cancer. I need some advice. I have irregular bowel movements. I can go weeks with out going to the bathroom and can't go. I get constipated, diarrhea, black tar like stools, normal stools, light brown mucus like stuff in my stools, I have hemorrhoids, I get cramps, abdominal pains, sometimes when I wipe there is blood on the tissue (not sure if its from the hemorrhoids), rectum pain, I usually have to strain to go (sometimes VERY hard), even when I go I still feel like I have to go and I only go just a little bit, I feel tired all the time, I rarely have the energy to do anything, Sometimes I feel nauseated and don't even no why or from what, I just have a lot of problems. I have been to the hospital a few times from not going to the bathroom and it makes me VERY sick. I was reading on some of the symptoms of colon cancer and rapid weight loss was one of them but, I haven't lost any weight. I did go see a Doctor about 9 years ago to have a barium enema to look for polyps in my colon since my mother passed from it and they seen nothing but, a lot can happen in 9 years. I have put this issue on the back burner for my whole life. I know I should't since my mother passed away from colon cancer. I guess I don't really think much about it because this has been a regular thing for me as long as I can remember. I don't go to the doctors unless I HAVE to. Much needed advice on what to do PLEASE. This maybe nothing but the ease of mind will help a lot. Thank you!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
