Hi, I have had a lung infection on the right and it was treated with 2 courses of antibiotics which cleared it up. I was then hit with pain on the right side of my ribs that came and went. I put it down to a guest bed i was sleeping on but then as it got worse I saw a Doctor who sent me for an x-ray which showed nothing much some evidence of previous mild phnumonia I think anyway the Dr said I had Pluerisy which he said he wouldn't give me antibiotics for due to the recent 2 week courses I had had fot the lung infection. I have now had pluerisy symtoms for at least 3 weeks now and I am wondering what the normal duration is? The pain is worse when it is cold and also at night and first thing in the morning. I have trouble sitting up from a lying position. I would appreciate any advice and I am off to the Doctor on Monday for a 2nd opinion. Cheers, Sara from Australia.:confused:Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
