I am 39 year old female who is healthy. I have great blood pressure. Ijust had tons of test run less than 6 months ago with a glowing report. We have no history of heart disease or lung disease in our family.

Currently I am feeling like my heart is beating hard-like I can feel it. It also feel like it is beating fast. It is not constant, but enough to raise a concern. I also have a cough that accompanies this. It is not painful.

I am going to make an appointment after the weekend is up. My feeling is that it may be anxiety since I am under a great deal of stress right now.

Any suggestion?

  • i believe it is stress or anxiety. personally, i would recommend taking a day off of whatever you do, go in and get an hour long full body massage. be sure the person doing you massage plays calming music. my guess is that if these tests are fine and your in good health and good blood pressure, it might not make it go away, but it will take your mind off of it. also, get involved in some kind of activity (ymca basketball leage, volleball, whatever you like). im just like you and am kind of a hypochondriac. you'll feel better about everying and have some fun at the same time. take it easy. hope this helps!T
