I'm a 28 year old female and have chest pain on my right side, under my breast. I recently have gotten over bronchitis and this pain developed shortly after. The pain worsens when lying down and I have a hard time getting up from a lying position because the pain is so great. I have tried taking advil but it does not really help. At first I thought I had a bruised rib, but I have not been coughing and haven't done anything physically to myself to warrent an injury. The pain has lasted about 2 weeks and is getting worse. I'm worried that this maybe a serious problem. Can anyone help?
