I became ill last year and one of my main symptoms was swollen lymph nodes in groin (and everywhere else). After 8 months of investigations it turns out I was suffering from a bout of Glandular Fever but I still didn't feel right down below. Anyway I pursued tests in every field to make sure that nothing was wrong as I felt like I was dying of cancer. I had 3 sexual health check ups (even thought I wasn't sexually active in between) plus an inspection from a gyno along with an ultra sound. All normal - though I was insistent something was up as my periods were behaving very peculiar - Gyno dismissed me and said there was no point in pap.
6 months later I get a call from my ex telling me he has genital warts!
I am currently on my period and can't get an inspection until the w/end but am terrified. I for sure have no outer warts but assume my cervix must be covered. I am booked into have a pap smear immediately also. Absolutely furious that they missed this and also hugely embarrassed that I have passed this disease on without knowing.
