Woke up this morning with numbness in left hand, left foot, and slight chest pain

I'm 34, in great shape, never smoked, 6'0", 195lbs.

I went out with a bunch of friends to a bar and had at the most 5 or 6 beers over a 7 hour period. I did something different in that I always had a big glass of water with my while drinking the beer. Probably went through 5 or 6 glasses.

Anyway, I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and noticed my left hand numb and some slight pain in my chest. I actually got to the point where I felt increasing chest pain off center to the left and nauseous while going. I was so tired I didnt think much of it and went to lay back down. As soon as I did, the chest pain and nausea went away and I fell back asleep.

Upon waking in the morning, I noticed that my left hand and foot, as well as the same left part of my chest was numb. After I got up and moving around, it went away after a few minutes.

Any ideas?

  • Go see a cardiologist. Google "heart attack symptoms". Many people have heart troubles leading up to a major heart attack, your symptoms fall right in line. Either way, left side extremities and chest - that's heart. Go see a cardiologist (really).
