My freind has been experiencing chest pains for the past 3 years and sought medical attention for it but her doctor and he dismissed it as nothing most likely since she is only 19. Her family has a history of heart problems and she just recently started to cough up blood. Her chest pain come in waves that can last over an hour and shortly after she goes into an odd delirous state where she's not quite herself and ussually doesn't remember what she says during this period. She refuses to go to a doctor becasue they didn't do anything for her the first time and I have begun to seriously worry something is very amiss with her health. Any response on what might be wrong with her would be much appreciated

  • Coughing up blood is never a good thing, i suggest popping down to your local ER. A delerious state....is she confused? could be low blood pressure. i would certainly get this checked up! Local GP's usually are quick and dismissive. Go down to ER, and say about chest pain, coughing up blood etc, and im sure she'll be put in for an ECG. Good luck.
