I have a normal blood pressure and pulse, though when I feel anxious it increases to an abnormal level; abnormal even for a nervous heart...this is only what my doctor says. He thinks that I have hyperthyroidism, although I don't agree as I only have two symptoms (high bp and trembling) and I ONLY ever have these symptoms when I am feeling anxious...I just happened to be feeling anxious when he was taking my blood pressure.
I don't think that tremors are even a real symptom anyway as I believe that it is normal to shake when you are feeling nervous, right? Well, my doctor doesn't seem to think so...or maybe he just completely ignored me when I told him that I don't usually have the tremors when I am calm. I think that my doctor is overacting. Is an abnormally high bp when nervous a symptom of any illness or is my doctor worrying me for absolutely no reason?
