Unclear Symptoms

Hi all

I am a 30 year old male, 1.78metres height, 85kg in weight, ex-heavy smoker (pack a day for 10 years) who rid the habit 4 months ago. Since then I've been having chest discomfort which manifests in frequent heartburn almost every alternate night. I also experience a sort of tightness in the centre of my chest and slight soreness when i exert pressure or compress my chest. I feel myself constantly fatigued and drained. Rest and sleep helps me recover but I cant seem to stay up for late nights like i used to, such that on an average my day lasts between 8 - 12hrs only.

Possibly unrelated are other symptoms such as a persistent cough and intermittent hematochezia occuring 3 times in the past 6months. I am just about tired of my condition and intend to consult a specialist later this week but i would like to be prepared to confront what i may be facing. All feedback is appreciated, or if u experience the same symptoms just leave a note.

many thanks
