I am a bit concerned about my family history. My grandfather died at 46 of a heart attack and my father has just had a quadruple heart bypass at 56 and my daughter of 20 months has just been diagnosed with asd. My father had the dye test, ecg, echo and an MRI scan and stress test before he had surgery and my question is really if there was any other heart problems that are hereditary running throuhght my family (other than blocked arteries) would the people conducting the tests notice? Would his heart have had a full evaluationie for otherr problems like enlarged or faulty bits?
