My 39 yr old daughter has AF and had an ablation done on her a week ago .She has been home from the hospital for a week and has started smoking again, approximatly 2 cigarettes a day.She says she just can't quit cold turkey, and that she has and is cutting down on how many she has in a day.I do not condone what she does but I wander what affect the smoking will have on her healing the scar tissue that was created to reroute the valves.Has anyone ever started smoking again this soon after any kind of heart procedures?I hope someone can help me with an answer to this.I'm real close to my daughter and only want her to start feeling betterReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
