I am 29 yrs old, female. I have this breathlessness problem. Firt my throat goes sore and dry and then I just feel myself choking up, going out of breath. At times I feel my chest going tight and my hands numb. I have done my pulmonary test, ECOH test, X-Ray, Blood test but all reports show normal. After I took a second opinion I learnt that I do not have asthma, even though the previous doctor was treating me for it. Only the ENT said that its acidity but even after taking medicines I dont feel any better. I cant even travel by trains there the choking feeling gets worse. Unless and until I keep myself busy I dont feel anything but it just happens any time. I am just fed up of myself and scared. please help.
PAN D tablet twice a day and etizolam tablets whenever I feel it too difficult to breathe

  • I would suggest you to look at the cardiovascular programs in NJ. Jersey Shore University Medical Center is very well equipped with latest technology and has experts on panel. Seek advice from them to ascertain the exact reasons for breathlessness. They have a separate center that caters to women’s health issues and even educates about various problems. When it comes to heart care, they are the best and ranked top for their medical services in the region. It is better to get checked early on through experts, than wait for any damage to happen. Take care and best wishes.
