Hey there. I will start off by saying I'm 24 years old and have been healthy for most of my life until recently. Ive stopped exercising regularly and eating well. The other night, I was in a sticky situation and got very stressed out. I went to bed to try and calm down and go to sleep. I began feeling very sick like I was going to throw up. I then went to the bathroom, but i never threw up. I started having strong heart palpitations, though not painful, and a tightening in my chest, which was also not painful, but very strong tightness. The past few days I've had a random tingling in my jaw. But tonight it's staying pretty constant. For the past few months, I've had a popping in my jaw I think is from TMJ. So I was thinking that maybe the tingling was from TMJ. But I'm not sure since I had the chest tightening and palpitations the other night. What is your best advice?

  • You might have had an anxiety attack, and they can be very scary. If you don't think this describes it then you might want to get an ECG or check up from your doc. If this doesn't go away, or gets worse, up the anti and see a cardiologist!
